Bobbie Comber reached the peak of his career in the 1930s. As well as appearing in films he made a
number of gramophone records, some with a nautical theme. Of these it is
the exploits of Barnacle Bill which are remembered together with other songs in a salty vein. Rollicking tunes and words which will
greatly amuse form the core of this collection. 23 Tracks, electrically recorded between 1929 and 1937.
