Mabel Constanduros is remembered for her creation of the Buggins Family in which she played most of the speaking parts. This CD brings together performances from the period 1927 - 1932 and concludes with a recording made on the Southern Railway.
Jenny Howard, Pictured here with her partner Percy King was a popular star from the late 1920s onwards. Remembered today for her versions of Gracie Fields songs, she had a wide repertoire of her own, and was equally at home in a comic song as a sentimental song.
